ratio should 1:1 due to many funtions in SAP such as MSS, ESS, Compensation, Structural Authorization, Workflow, Be careful if your customer is requesting 1 to many. You will have issues and customer will not like it. 1 to 1 is best practice from SAP and any organization.

I have worked on both one to one and one to many. Usually one to one works better if it is a not a big company (I mean the headcount is not in thousands). Yes, time constraint values work for you for restricting the relationship to 1:1 and 100% check can be a second control.

Hi exp,

I am on an implementation project.I have 3 companies with headcount 70/200/250 total of 520 .

1.I suggested my client to restricvt one position to one person i.e. one position can be hold by only one person.

Is it a best practice ??

Is my recommendation right..

2. Also i have planned to restrict one position to one person by means of time constraint(time constraint 2)

Another way i could find is by using 100% check ....

Could you pls guide which would be more advisable way of doing it.
