Hi,
Delimit is used for limiting an a perticular record on mentioned date, where you can view previous records whenever needed. It can be done in expert mode or at org assignment.
follow the process as per our friends advise.

Delimiting of an object means, you will copy it and modify details, and save it. Once you do this , you will be able to see old records also . Entire history will be available when u click on overview button.
