OM can provide defaults to PA on info type 0001, 0007, 0008, but these values can be overriden on the PA side.
The biggest integration factor with payroll is the costing. Cost center distrubutions can be set up on the OM side that can affect where employee payroll amounts are posted in the controlling module.
