You cannot change the Absence Days manually in IT 2001
Your only solution is one of the following
1) maintain an exact workschedule for everyone in IT 0007.
2) Maintain a generic work schedule in IT 0007 but for shift people change the properties of certain days using Substitutions Infotype 2003.
Bottom line is the system MUST know the exact work schedule at the time of entering an absence or attendance.
