Use of the Payroll Infotypes requires set-up in the IMG: Personnel Management --> Human Resources Information System --> Payroll Results. Here you must go step by step to Define Evaluation Wage Types, then Assign Wage types to these evaluation wage types. Finally Set-Up Payroll Infotypes to copy or use IT0402 or IT0403 and assign the evaluation wage types to the Payroll infotype. Then Generate the Payroll Infotype.
You then have to fill the data via payroll run by using the last step - Set-Up Assignement to Payroll or use report RPABRI00. Now you can put the Payroll Infotype and the fields you want into an Infoset that can be accessed by Ad Hoc Query or SQ01.
A lot of work, but now you can create reports with actual payroll data and include specific HR data that is not available in Wage Type Reporter or PC_PAYRESULTS.
