This the second issue more clearly...
 
Records with conflicts (absences or attendances) are not transferred, however the program only checks for conflicts where there are time events and a conflicting record on the same day. If a half day absence is entered into IT2001 and the employee registers times the other half day these times will not be transferred as the program sees this as a conflict. Manual intervention is then required.
 
The problem is entering more time events does not force recalculation...
 
will try the options and get back.. thanks again.

Scenario:
If the employee is working on a holiday he needs be paid twice the amount - how is it possible?
 
Option 1 : Set in Counting Rule - sub rule - count attendance on holiday (by checking Holiday class 1 & 2)  by setting quota multiplier weightage as 200% so that system make it 2 days instead of 1 day attendance so that double wages will be paid on that day in payroll component.
Option 2 : define separate counting rule  and seperate attendance type - count attendance on holiday (by checking Holiday class 1 & 2)  by setting quota multiplier weightage as 200% so that system make it 2 days instead of 1 day and cumulate into Time Type in time Evaluation for Payroll processing alongwith normal attendance days too...
 
IScenario :

(Its not clear whether the other half-day is same absence type or different recording)
 
1. If on the same day two different absence types are recorded, each of half-day, no conflict..
2. Even if the same absence type is recorded on the same day with two different time intervals, no conflict...
3. if either of the half-day absence type time interval is overlapping, then conflict bcz of Time Constraint Class - 1.
So check the above options and try...
